I'm going to pick up where I left off on my Hometown WalkThrough Project. This project is going to give me large scope to experiment and try out all the new shader-based techniques.
I found that my main Meccano webpage was getting rather lengthy, so I have now broken it into a number of sub-pages, each page being devoted to a different model. The first model for this year is again from the No.10 outfit and is called the Lifting Shovel.
All my programming work from now on will be using the very-soon-to-be-released-Oddity Engine. I still use 3DRad as a scene editor, from which I export my scene to the Oddity Engine based application . The designer of the Oddity Engine has posted a "sneak peek tech demo" on the 3Impact Forum here
I happened to be in the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower when it suffered a sudden catastrophic failure and collapse! Luckily I had my video camera on hand, and managed to capture this major event. The video can be watched on YouTube here
