Testing a new 3D graphics engine : Meccano Gear Demo

4/22/2011

I've not been very active on the production front lately, as I've been rather busy as a beta-tester for a new 3D PhysX-based graphic engine.
This engine is due for official public release in about two weeks, but I have been given the go-ahead to play around with the pre-release version. So what better way to try it out than in a Meccano demonstration application. I chose to demonstrate the interaction between some of the very large range of Meccano gears taken from the early 1960's red/green Meccano era (about the time that I was playing with the real thing!). Find the demo for download (no false positives with AVG !)  on my Meccano page.

Hey, I was just wondering if
you could remake the Skinned Andro
Ragdoll with the "Sphere2m"
RigidBody? Because I dont have
that kinda rigidbody you used on
your pictures in your freebies,
and the 3dr project doesnt work
properly: it has not the right skinmeshes, and when i switched the default rigidbody and the skinmeshes into andro, its kinda buggy anyway,

So thanks if you could fix it,

From Andi

All the content was originally
included in my post on the 3DRad
Forum.....but was "deleted" some time
ago.
So in reply to your request I've
uploaded the Andro rigidbody parts.
You can find them for download on the
Freebie Andro Ragdoll Demo page.

Creating signage in a 3-dimensional space is a way to have your ideas interact with the audiences or act as guides that help to organize your event. Thanks for sharing...........
